The house is located on the heights of Agones hamlet, it’s the last house that will certify an absolute intimity and will offer a splendid view to the Hérault valley.
«La Costette » is located on the THAURAC mount.
The Hérault river splits off in two parts this mountain.
The nearest village is Saint-Bauzille-de-Putois 2 km away.
You will find stores: bakery, grocery, butcher, chemist's shop, tobacconist's, newspaper and a post-office.
Next city is Ganges 6 km away.
Banks, supermarkets et its weekly free market on friday morning.
Tourism office will help you about all activities and events taking place in the area (concerts, markets, shows...).
The house has a groundfloor with a large room, lounge and dining-room, bathroom, a washing-clothes machine, toilet, a full-equiped kitchen and a sleepingroom with one bed for two persons (160x200).
On the first floor, a big sleepingroom witn one bed for two persons (160x200) a baby bed, two rooms with two one-person beds (90x200), one more bed is available on the floor, therefore 9 persons and a baby can sleep upstairs. A bathroom and toilet can be found on the same floor.
All sheet are made with a good quality (from hotels).
Games, over 300 cartoons and a big library can be your entertainment. Please take care of them.
An Internet WI-FI connection is available. It may work slowly sometimes (hamlet, petite connexion) but its workflow is ok. If it doesn't work, unplug the modem, wait for 30 seconds then plug it back.
Television is equipped with a parabola satellite. You have more than 200 channels.
The garden has three terraces with oliver trees.
Around the house, eastside, south and southwest, you will enjoy a terrace with a shelter for lunch, and a « apéro » corner with sofa and small table. Another huge terrace will show you the way to the swimming pool, you will find a table where you can eat.
The terrace has a pergola (since 2007) that will give you shelter and keep you cool even if it is hot you will appreciate the sight when eating out.
Transats are waiting for you close to the "beach" of the swimming pool (14 x 7 m).
It is a beautiful swimming pool made with natural stones from which you have a wonderful view to the valley.
Its green color looks like a water spring.
Cleaning system works with salt (only 3gr per liter, to avoid insects).
The are offers you a lot of activities, sports and nice "balades" without forgetting every place to visit :
- Maiden caves of St Bauzille.
- Navacelles circus.
- The beautiful village of Saint-Guilhem-le-désert.
- Anduze bamboo forest…
- Many famous vineyards all over there.
Around some sports like: kayak, canioning, horseriding, tennis, karting, sail-planing (pic St Loup), paragliding, via ferrata, climbing and many treks (l’abîme de Rabanel, Le ravin des arcs…).
Sea is 35 km away and will give many oppotunities to make sport or some cultural activities like visiting Aigues-Mortes, Les Saintes-Maries-de-la-mer, Nîmes (60 km), Montpellier (32km).
We are sure you will find many unexpected activities that we may have zapped.
